Tucked away in the heart of Co. Laois, Fitz of Inch is a 17th-century country house where history, charm and celebration come together.

Picture ivy-clad walls, sweeping front lawns and characterful rooms that have been gathering people for centuries.

Exchange vows in an intimate legal ceremony for up to 30 guests, then carry the celebration into our barn for up to 80.

Getting Married with us

Say "I do" in the heart of a 17th-century country house.

Fitz of Inch is registered for legal wedding ceremonies with the HSE, so you can make it official right here, surrounded by up to 30 of your closest people.

Choose from four ceremony spaces, each with its own character:

• The Old Dining Room: elegant and steeped in history
• The Lounge: warm, intimate and relaxed
• The Conservatory: light-filled and romantic
• The Front Lawns: open air, with the house as your backdrop

It couldn't be simpler. You rent the space, then let your registry office know you'd like to marry at Fitz of Inch.

Celebrating the wedding with us

Whether you've said your vows here or elsewhere, Fitz of Inch is made for the celebration that follows.

Our Sir John Hurt Barn hosts up to 80 guests for the dinner, the speeches and the dancing. It has round tables, cosy sofas, a full sound system and plenty of room to party.

You can have the legal ceremony with us for up to 30 guests, then welcome everyone else for the afters. Or you can marry wherever you choose and bring the celebration home to Fitz of Inch.
